Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Service to Serve Flint and Genesee County Residents
(FLINT, MI) July 10, 2025 – Healthy Rides Flint-Genesee has officially launched in the Flint and Genesee County communities. The non-emergency medical transportation service provides safe, timely and dependable transportation for individuals in Flint and across Genesee County. The launch was announced at a ribbon cutting with the Flint & Genesee Chamber on July 10, 2025.
Created to support riders who are unable to travel to essential appointments on their own, Healthy Rides Flint-Genesee bridges a critical gap in healthcare access. The service ensures that patients can get to and from non-emergent medical appointments without disruptions to their care.
“Our mission is to help individuals meet their wellness needs without interruption in services,” said Stacy Riley Burgess, DNP, MPH, RN, Flint area native and owner, Healthy Rides Flint-Genesee. “We understand that reliable transportation plays a vital role in health outcomes, and we’re committed to supporting our community with the care and consistency they deserve.”
Healthy Rides Flint-Genesee is designed with the local community in mind, offering transportation for a variety of non-emergency medical needs including routine doctor visits, physical therapy, dialysis and other critical healthcare services.
