Downtown Flint’s Youth Talent Show coming this month

 (Dateline: Flint, MI September 18th, 2021) –Bringing in the spotlight for the youths of Flint and Genesee County, Eye Snap Studios LLC presents the very first “Downtown Flint’s Youth Talent Show”. Owner/Photographer of Eye Snap Studios LLC, Alvin Jermaine Brown, Jr., has set his sights on bringing a platform for the young and talented for the opportunity to showcase their unique gifts and skills. Inspired by a close friend who wanted to do something for the community, he took it upon himself to create this outlet as a way to shed more light into the community at hand.

With the partnership of What’s Up Downtown Flint Project, this event will take place at Riverbank Park (Amphitheater). This talent show will include various talents, like music, dance, spoken word/poetry, dance and more. And as a bonus, local business Mattie’s Kitchen has also partnered up with the event and will be providing cupcakes for the little children to decorate as a unique activity while the older youths perform on stage. This event will be hosted by Terre’sha Moore, a wonderful young lady who has a great history of hosting many events and a current co-host of the radio show, “The Dwalk Show” of 96.7 FM Detroit. This event is made free and open to the general public.

For youths who wishes to take part and perform on stage, the requirements are as follows:

– Only youths ages 8-19 years may participate in performing on stage.

– Youths and parents/guardians must sign a consent for in order to participate and perform. This event will be photographed and video recorded.

– For those who wish to dance or perform music, keep in mind that this is a family-friendly event, as there will be kids on the premises. Please be mindful of the dance and/or music you wish to perform.

– Participants and/or the family of the youth participants must be able to communicate if there are any changes that occur.
