Community Journalist Joins WBKB as News Anchor

Flint, Mich. — Sheri L. Stuart has been named news director/evening anchor for WBKB in Alpena, Michigan.  Ms. Stuart joined the Flint Courier News in November 2017 as a community journalist. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in public relations, print and broadcast journalism.  She was instrumental in revamping the layout of the Flint Courier as well as securing a Community Network grant from the Facebook Journalism Project.

“Sheri has blessed us tremendously by her presence, as well as her professionalism,” said Rev. Floyd Fuller,  executive director of the CPSA Courier, Inc. “Our staff, the Board and the Flint community, has benefited from her hard work and dedication. We have become better at pursuing our mission because of her.”

Ms. Stuart’s last day working at the Courier was Dec. 31, 2019.  She will join the WBKB news team on January 6.
