Job Fair Taking Place April 30 and May 7 from 1-3 PM
Flint, Mich. – Communities First, Inc. (CFI), a nonprofit community development organization based in Flint, is inviting construction trade companies and job applicants to participate in an exciting new development project located at 2645 Orchard Lane and 2709 Orchard Lane in Flint, Michigan.
The project, known as Orchard Lane, will include the rehabilitation of 45 residential units and commercial space aimed at revitalizing the area and creating meaningful employment and contracting opportunities for local residents and small businesses.
“This project is not just about rehabilitating structures—it’s about building stronger communities and creating opportunities for our local workforce and small businesses,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc.
To connect with potential subcontractors, suppliers, and job seekers, Communities First
will host two Open Job and Trade Fairs on:
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 and
Wednesday, May 7, 2025
Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM both days

CFI strongly encourages participation from WBE, EBE, SBE, DBE, MBE, SDBE, and Section 3 subcontractors and suppliers. Contractors interested in bidding on work related to the Orchard Lane development must submit qualification documents no later than:

Current certificate of insurance
Current financial statement
