Grand Blanc, Mich. — The City of Grand Blanc is excited to announce the Third Annual Festival of Lights event on Friday, Dec. 6 from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be many festivities happening at two locations, Physicians Park and The Grand Chalet Shoppes. Physicians Park is located at 218 Reid Road.
The Grand Chalet Shoppes are located at 131 East Grand Blanc Road. Physicians Park will host the Grand Opening of the new Ice-Skating Rink at 5 p.m. The Ice Rink is built with a dual purpose, a Splash Pad for the Summer. This will be a great addition to the park. The Grand Blanc High School Hockey team will be in attendance. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own skates. There will be no skate rental available.
A candle walk crowd will gather near the pavilion in Physicians Park at 5:30 p.m. to begin a candle walk up Grand Boulevard to The Grand Chalet Shoppes. The Official Tree Lighting is set to begin at 6 p.m. in The Grand Chalet Shoppes area. The Grand Chalet Shoppes will have shopping available with the current shops and other vendors set up. The Grand Chalet Shoppes are Black Sheep Yard, Angelic Soaps & Gifts, Parfait Ink & Embellishment, Topsy-Turvy Home Creations, Cozy Chic, and Shift. The shops offer many different options for holiday gifts.
The Grand Chalet Shoppes will host Pictures with Santa from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be a holiday ornament craft for the children.
The community is invited to attend for a magical night filled with memories.
