City of Flint advisory for Tuesday Feb. 16

The city of Flint is asking residents to not park on the streets overnight February 16 due to the large amounts of snowfall.

“Our crews are out there day and night, working hard to clear the streets and make them safe for the residents of Flint,” said Transportation Director John Daly.

“We have been able to increase plowing in the neighborhoods,” Daly added. “Residents can help by not parking in the street so that our plows can better clear the roadway.

Republic Services has also announced trash pickup in the city of Flint will be delayed one day this week starting Tuesday due to weather.
