18-year-old man recently charged with the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old girl in Flint

18-year-old Jermaine Vinceontea Robinson was recently charged with first degree murder and one count of using a firearm to commit a felony after the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old girl in Flint.

At approximately 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, Flint police rushed to the scene of the shooting on the 900 block of Millbrook Drive, where tragically the 14 year old was pronounced dead.

Soon after, Robinson was taken into custody. He was arraigned on Friday, March 14.

According to police, Robinson and his 14-year-old girlfriend had gotten into an argument on March 11 near River Village Apartments, north of downtown.

Robinson has been denied bond. He is scheduled for a probable cause conference on March 27, which is to occur in front of Judge William H. Crawford.
