Genesee Community Health Center celebrates National Health Center Week with Patient Appreciation Day

GENESEE COUNTY, MI – Flint and surrounding communities are invited to celebrate National Health Center Week with Patient Appreciation Day at Genesee Community Health Center (GCHC), Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from Noon to 3 p.m., 725 Mason Street, Flint, 48503.

National Health Center Week, August 7 through 13, celebrates community health centers being “The Chemistry for Strong Communities” with a different health focus every day. Wednesday celebrates patients and their families that utilize health center services daily.

 “This event is special to all of us here at Genesee Community Health Center,” said Jean Troop, executive director, Genesee Community Health Center.

“It’s important that our consumers know we appreciate them trusting us with their healthcare services,” Troop added.

GCHC’s Patient Appreciation Day will include music, inflatable games, bicycle and school supplies giveaway, COVID-19 vaccines, free food and more. The event is with sponsorship from Health Alliance Plan, Molina Healthcare, and United Healthcare Community Plan.
