Saturday shooting leaves 16-year-old dead, another injured

At around 1:54 a.m. on July 17, Hurley Medical Center Public Safety advised Genesee County Dispatch that two males arrived with gunshot wounds. One male, 17 year old, was shot in the leg and listed in good condition.  The other male, 16 year old, was pronounced dead while at Hurley. Flint Police responded to the 400 block of E. Bishop Ave., which was determined to be the shooting scene. This investigation is ongoing.
