(FLINT, Mich.) –Written by Calvin Ray, Listen to the Silence explores several distinctive scenarios in which individuals chose to end their lives, ultimately ending the noise of the voices in their head. The stage play will be presented on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 7:30 p.m. at The New McCree Theatre, 2040 W. Carpenter Road, Flint.
The dynamic presentation is broken down into common yet distinctive situations that are intended to 
provoke community dialogue. The storylines are without character names but rather descriptive monologues of circumstances that were the catalyst for catastrophic decisions. The where is insignificant, the how is indifferent, the when is inconsequential, but the why needs to be explored.
Listen to the Silence is presented by Destiny Power Center, a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating safe spaces for community conversation and dialogue that addresses societal ills.
