Flint Public Library looking for NEW FACES

Flint Public Library looking for NEW FACES for Connect, Read, Dream Posters!

The Flint Public Library is looking for patrons to be featured in this year’s “Connect, Read, Dream" posters at the Flint Public Library. Photos will be taken on Saturday, April 26, 9:30 am-5:30 pm free at the Flint Public Library, 1026 E. Kearsley Street. “We invite library patrons, individuals, children and families to be a part of this year’s Poster Patron wall,” said Wanda Harden, public relations coordinator for the Library." This is the fifth year of the program which we began in 2010 as a way to celebrate National Library Week, the joy of reading and the importance of the Library. There are over 70 posters currently on display in the lobby of the Library. “We are looking for new faces, those who have not participated in the past two years. Participants will receive a free digital version of their poster,” said Harden. For details or to make an appointment call or email Wanda Harden atwharden@fpl.info or 810.249.2044.
