2023 Big Brothers Big Sisters Dr. Martin Luther King Inspiration Breakfast taking place Jan. 16

Flint MI – Join Big Brothers Big Sisters at the “Navigating New Norms” Dr. Martin Luther King
annual breakfast on Monday, January 16 at the Flint Farmers’ Market.

Big Brothers Big Sisters devotes itself to the success of Flint and Genesee County’s youth through service and one-to-one mentorship. This year, the annual MLK Celebration will focus on igniting the potential of our future leaders by preparing them to navigate new norms.

Mott Community College’s Chief of Staff DeAndra Larkin will join as this year’s keynote speaker. Larkin shows her commitment to defending the potential in our communities through her service on the Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees, Hurley Foundation’s Board of Managers and the Flint River Watershed Coalition’s Board of Directors. She has also been recognized as one the Flint and Genesee County Chamber of Commerce 40 under 40 for 2022.

Join in the community celebration on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Flint Farmers’ Market.
