16-year-old fatally shot in Flint

A 16-year-old Black male was fatally shot in Flint on Tuesday, April 20. The shooting took place on the 700 block of West Dayton as the teen was driving through the neighborhood.

Upon arrival, police located a single vehicle involved in a crash and a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Hurley Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

It’s believed the victim crashed the car after he was shot.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is currently available.
