A Flint shooting occurring at approximately 9 p.m. Saturday, April 24 resulted in one fatality. Upon arrival to the scene at 2100 block of Ohio Ave, a Black male in his 30s was located and pronounced dead at the scene. A second Black male who was also in his 30s was transported to Hurley Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. A Black male suspect in his 40s was located and was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

A deadly shooting also occurred on Friday, April 23 on the 3000 block of Sloan St., in Flint. Upon arrival, police located a Black male who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Hurley Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. This investigation is ongoing.

A vehicle crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of Franklin and Delaware Ave after 1:20 a.m. Sunday, April 25. When police arrived, they found the white male driver of the vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to Hurley Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition. This investigation is ongoing.
