Flint, Michigan—The Friends of the Flint Public Library will host a fall used book sale.
Special Preview sale for members of “Friends” only:
Thursday, Oct 15, 4 -7 p.m.
Open to the public:
Friday, Oct 16 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct 17, 10 a.m. -4 p.m. (All day, $5.00 per bag)
Choose from a great variety of books and DVDs. The broad selection includes children’s books, cookbooks, fiction, non-fiction and more. This year children’s books, large type books and books related to Black life are priced at buy one, get one. Most books cost $1. The Friends accept credit cards as well as cash and checks. Credit card fees are applied.
Buying books at the book sale is a way to support your public library. All proceeds help to expand the services and programs of the library. Another way to support the library is to join the Friends of the Flint Public Library, which can be done at the sale.
The Friends of the Flint Public Library is a 501c3 non-profit group organized to advance literacy and life-long learning through fund-raising that directly benefits library services and programs.
