Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village to host soft opening for The Antidote Studio featuring Music Producer Mike Kuz

In celebration of the soft opening of The Antidote Studio located inside The
Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village, SBEV welcomes producer, Mike Kuz and Flint’s own
recording artist, Jon Connor, hosted by ESPN personality, Eric Woodyard.

Mike Kuz, who has production credits with the likes of Drake, Wyclef Jean, Common, Offset,
Timbaland and more, will be coming to speak with students of the Sylvester Broome
Empowerment village on how to write, produce, and engineer music on Thursday, March 4,
2021.

The following day, Mike and Jon will work with six (6) young, local artists, who are trying to find their voices in the music industry and develop their sound in 30-minute ‘Steel Session’ breakouts.

Finally, Mike Kuz sits down with Flint’s own, Eric Woodyard of ESPN, who will talk through
Mike’s amazing body of work, what makes a good record and many other interesting segments
of the music industry.

This is an invite-only event but can be viewed live on the Sylvester Broome Empowerment
Village Facebook page.

Antidote Studio at SBEV serves as a community hub on Flint’s north side by providing youth
and adult programming including music production, engineering, mastering, and basic music
lessons. SBEV also serves as a meeting space for various community events, organizations,
