Flint, Michigan—The Friends of the Flint Public Library will host a special summer used book sale from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., on Saturday, August 19. The sale will be in the large garage of the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library, 1026 E. Kearsley St.
Attendees will be able to choose from a great variety of books and DVDs. The broad selection includes children’s books, cookbooks, fiction, non-fiction and more. Hardcover books cost $1 and paperback books cost $.50. The Friends accept credit cards, as well as cash and checks.
Buying books at the book sale is a great way to support your public library. All proceeds help to expand the services and programs of the library.
Another way to support the library is to join the Friends of the Flint Public Library. You can do that when you come to the August sale. It costs just $20.
