MDOT’s contractor for the I-69 reconstruction from Fenton to Dort is switching over lane configurations today to have both directions of travel on the EB roadway. This will allow for reconstruction of the WB pavement and ramps this year, followed by the opposite next summer. The following ramps will be closed by the end of the day today, and remain closed throughout the summer:
Ramp Closed WB I-69 to NB I-475-detour would be to take the Dort Highway Exit and head north to Stewart Avenue. Head west on Stewart to I-475 NB.
Ramp Closed WB I-69 to SB I-475-detour would be to take the Dort Highway Exit and head south to Bristol Road. Head west on Bristol Road to I-475 SB.
Ramp Closed NB I-475 to WB I-69-detour would be to take the Bristol Road exit and head west on Bristol Road to I-75. Head north on the ramp toward I-75 and take the ramp to WB I-69.
Ramp Closed NB I-475 to EB I-69-detour would be to take the Bristol Road exit and head east on Bristol Road to Dort Highway. Head north on Dort Highway to I-69 and take the ramp to EB I-69.
Ramp Closed SB I-475 to EB I-69-detour would be to take RT Longway/M-21 Exit. Take M-21 west to Miller Road. Take Miller Road west to Hammerberg Road. Take Hammerberg Road south to the ramp to EB I-69.
Ramp Closed SB I-475 to WB I-69-detour would be to take RT Longway/M-21 Exit. Take M-21 west to I-75. Take I-75 south to the ramp for WB I-69.
Ramp Closed SB M-54 to WB I-69.
Ramp Closed NB M-54 to WB I-69.
Ramp Closed SB M-54 to EB I-69.
