ReCAST Door-to-Door Survey Rescheduled to Oct. 18

The Flint Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma team will conduct a citywide door-to-door survey the weekend of Oct. 18.  Due to a recent increase in mosquito-borne illnesses, the team postponed the survey that was scheduled to take place Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22, 2019. There has been a recent increase in mosquito-borne illnesses in the areas surrounding Genesee County. State health officials have urged the cancellation of all outdoor evening events until the first fall frost has occurred. After this time, mosquitoes are generally considered to be less of a threat to human health.

This citywide door-to-door survey offers a unique opportunity for citizens to provide anonymous feedback about their public health needs
