Pedestrian left in critical condition after being struck by vehicle

At approximately 9:45 p.m., on  Sunday June 18,   a traffic crash occurred on DuPont St. & W. Paterson St.

The on-scene investigation revealed that the victims were walking across DuPont St. when they were struck by an unknown vehicle traveling N/B on DuPont St.

The unidentified vehicle fled the scene and has not been located.

The victims were transported to Hurley Medical Center where one victime was listed in critical condition. The other two victims were in good condition.  Next of kin has been notified.

It is unclear if speed, alcohol and/or drugs are a factor in this crash.
