At 10:40 p.m., on Saturday, December 14 , a traffic crash occurred on N. Dort Hwy. near E. Carpenter Rd., in Flint
The on-scene investigation revealed that the victim was walking on N. Dort Hwy. on foot and was struck by an unknown vehicle that was traveling N/B on N. Dort Hwy. The vehicle fled the scene and has not been identified at this time.
The victim suffered internal injuries was pronounced dead on scene. She was identified as Kira Klee Lovelace, a Black female born 9-3-96. Lovelace’s next of kin has been notified.
It is unknown if speed, alcohol/drugs are a factor in this crash.
