The Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the burning of the mortgage on the Family Life Center on Sunday, June 22nd. Worship service for this historical occasion will begin at 10:00 o’clock a.m. with special guest minister; Rev. Michael Greer, son of the late Rev. Dr. Roy I. Greer who founded the Family Life Center. Dinner will be served immediately following the worship service in the Family Life Center. Pastor Stewart and the Mt. Olive church family are thankful to God for the blessing of debt elimination and we echo the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 13:8 that states, “owe no man anything except to love.” We cordially invite all to come and share in this special Dedication Service. Some Flint public officials are expected to attend and you don’t want to miss out on this “momentous occasion” in Mt. Olive’s history.
