The Mt. Olive MBC Chancel Choir will host their “Pre-Centennial” Annual day Sunday September 21, 2014 at 4:00pm Theme: “Renew Thy Church, Her Ministries Restore”- A Celebration of Music of the Black Church Experience. Guest Soprano Vocalist: Jolie Rocke-Brown of Hartford CT and Audrey Dubois-Harris of Charlotte, SC and Flint’s own Minister A. Jeffrey La Valley. The Chancel choir invites all to come and to share in expressions of worship from sacred classical to jazz to gospel hymns and beyond. Admission is FREE and there will be a free-will offering. Artist CD’s available for purchase following the concert.
