(FLINT, Mich., April 2, 2025) — The Mott Community College (MCC) Music Department will host an open house April 8, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Mott Memorial Building on campus in Flint. The open house will be followed by a music recital at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
Prospective students and their families as well as interested community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
“This is your chance to meet our talented faculty, explore our state-of-the-art music and music technology facilities, and get a feel for what it’s like to be part of our vibrant music community,” said Rufus Ferguson, MCC professor of music and coordinator of the music and music technology programs.
Ferguson added: “Enjoy light refreshments as you mingle, and stick around for the Music Majors Honor Recital at 7 p.m. to experience some amazing student performances. Don’t miss out on this exciting evening—come see what we’re all about!”
