Flint, Michigan – Harris Family Health will present the Mindful and Motivated Youth Health Summit, a dynamic event designed to inspire and educate teens about the diverse and rewarding careers in the healthcare industry. This exciting summit will offer hands-on activities, engaging health talks and invaluable insights to participants aged 14 to 18, free of charge, with lunch included.
Dr. Aisha Harris, a dedicated family medicine doctor and Flint native at Harris Family Health, recognizes the importance of strengthening the health career pipeline. The Mindful and Motivated Youth Health Summit will be held in two sessions, providing flexibility for interested teens to participate. The first session will take place on Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m,, at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library. The second session is scheduled for Saturday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Flint.
