Mid-Winter Friends of the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library ‘Cozy’ Used Book Sale to take place Feb. 14

Flint, Michigan—The Friends of the Library will host a “Cozy” used book sale from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 14. The sale will be on the lower level of the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library, 1026 E. Kearsley St.
This short sale includes selected categories of books to chase away the winter blues: cookbooks, general fiction, mysteries, romance, Black life, crafts and books for children.  The group is also offering DVDs, puzzles and games.
Most items cost $1.  The Friends accept credit cards as well as cash and checks.
Buying books at this book sale is a great way to support your public library.  All proceeds help to expand the services and programs of the library.  Another way to support the library is to join the Friends of the Library.  You can do that when you come to the February sale. There is a small fee to join.
The Friends of the Library is a 501c3 non-profit group organized to advance literacy and life-long learning through fund-raising that directly benefits library services and programs.  Members help by their membership fees but also by dedicating volunteer hours to fund-raising activities.  If you want to learn more about Friends of the Library volunteer activities, call Julie Boylan at 517-740-2306.
