(FLINT, Mich., Sept. 16, 2024) — The Foundation for Mott Community College and the Culinary Arts Institute are presenting “A Conversation with Robin Terry,” Chairwoman & CEO of Motown Museum, an event celebrating the culinary arts and the legendary music of Motown. Terry, Berry Gordy’s niece, will share the history of the legendary music hub, the inspiration for one of MCC’s most beloved events: Mott, Motown & More. The Sept. 26 event will celebrate the sound and memories of Hitsville USA coupled with a gourmet culinary experience from MCC’s renowned chefs beginning at 6 p.m. at the MCC Culinary Arts Institute at 550 Saginaw Street in Flint.

“We are excited to bring Robin Terry to Flint for this one-of-a-kind mash-up of history, music and food,” said Lennetta Coney, President and CEO of the Foundation of Mott Community College (FMCC).

“This is a wonderful opportunity to hear first hand the inside story of Motown and enjoy some amazing food,” Coney added.

Proceeds from the event will help support student programs. Mott, Motown & More returns to the FIM Capitol Theater on May 16, 2025.
