After being hit by a vehicle on West Pierson Road around 6:30 p.m. last week on Thursday Feb. 25, a 53-year old has died this week due to injuries.
A Buick SUV was headed west when it hit Timothy Paul McLaurin while he was crossing the road. The driver of the SUV stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
McLaurin died at Hurley Medical Center on Sunday Feb. 28.
