Flint, Mich. — September 5, 2025 — Hurley Medical Center has announced that Dr. Marc Moisi, director of Neurosurgery at Hurley Medical Center, has been elected president of the Michigan Association of Neurosurgeons (MANS). Dr. Moisi will serve a two-year term leading Michigan’s statewide neurosurgical society, which continues to advance neurosurgical care and collaboration across hospitals and institutions.
Dr. Moisi has been an active member of MANS since 2021, when he joined the Board of Directors. Over the past four years, he has served in multiple leadership roles, including Member at Large, Secretary/Treasurer, and most recently Vice President. His election as President on August 12 reflects both his commitment to advancing the field and the high regard in which he is held by his peers statewide.
At Hurley Medical Center, Dr. Moisi has served as Director of Neurosurgery since 2021. Together with neurosurgeon Dr. Christian Bowers, he provides patients with access to advanced surgical care at the Hurley Neurological Center, including:

Dr. Moisi also plays an integral role in Hurley’s Level I Trauma Center, where his expertise ensures patients throughout the region receive immediate, world-class neurosurgical care in critical situations.
