‘Grieving For Our Government:’ a vigil with Q & A with Michigan political officials to take place April 5

When: Saturday, April 5, 2025
2 – 4 p.m.

Where: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Flint, 2474 Ballenger Hwy. Flint, MI 48507

What: The UU Congregation of Flint is inviting the public to gather as a hopeful, spiritual community to reflect on the current political climate. This community vigil will include meditation, prayer and music. Local religious and political leaders have been invited and all religious and spiritual communities and individuals are welcome to attend. Time will be included to talk with staffers from Rep. Rivet ’s and Sen. Slotkin’s offices (based on availability) and ask what we, as citizens, can do to affect the future of our country!
