GISD to host career fair for early childhood and student support positions October 19

                         9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

FLINT — The Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) is seeking talented and dedicated professionals to join its team and is looking forward to interviewing candidates at its Career Fair on October 19 at the Genesee Career Institute Conference Center. To accommodate potential candidates, the Career Fair will run two sessions: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 3:00-7:00 p.m.

Full-time and part-time positions are available and select positions offer a signing bonus, a year-end stipend, and health, dental and vision insurance. All positions offer competitive wages, paid time off, paid holidays, and paid inclement weather days.

GISD has immediate openings at multiple locations throughout Genesee County. Available positions include:

  • Early Head Start & Head Start Teachers
  • Classroom Support Staff
  • GSRP Lead and Associate Teachers
  • Office Associate
  • Office Assistant
  • Mental Health Service Provider
  • Nutrition Facilitators
  • CHILL and YES Facilitators
  • Youth Development Leaders and Facilitators
  • Tutor for Homeless/Runaway Students

Individuals interested in working in a collaborative environment to meet the needs of Genesee County students should come to the event with their resume, transcripts and photo ID for on-the-spot interviews and free fingerprinting and background checks.
