Friday May 13 traffic crash leaves man in critical condition

At 01:38 a.m. on Friday, May 13, traffic crash occurred on E/B I-69 near Hammerberg Rd., in Flint.

The on-scene investigation revealed that the victim was driving a silver 2007 Saturn Ion E/B on E/B I-69 when he lost control and struck the concrete median wall. The vehicle rolled over top of the median wall and came to rest on W/B I-69. The victim was ejected from the vehicle.

The victim was transport to Hurley Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. He was identified as Samuel James Henshaw, born 07-11-1997.

Currently, it is unknown if speed, alcohol and/or drugs are a factor in this crash.
