Golfing and Local Landmark Rebuilding Partnership

The Flintstone Golf Spectacular, formerly known as the Booker Moore and Dr. Rodney Feaster Memorial Golf Tournament, has joined hands with the Friends of Atwood Stadium this year to raise funds for its’ rebuilding efforts.

The outing, only in its' second year met with incredible success in 2013, and donated a scholarship in the name of Booker Moore and Dr. Rodney Feaster to the Greater Flint Sports Hall of Fame.  "The committee is hoping to have another success year so that we can make a meaningful contribution to the Friends of Atwood Stadium," says Melvin Smith, one of the founding members and co-chairs.  "We are working hard so that everyone has a good time too."

The event is Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Captain’s Club, 10200 Woodfield Drive, Grand Blanc, MI, with a shotgun start beginning promptly at 9:00 a.m.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.  The cost is $65 per person which includes lunch and checks should be made payable to Kettering Atwood Fund.  The Kettering Atwood Fund is a 501(C)(3) organization and $35 of your payment is tax deductible.
