Flint Small Business Saturday returns June 13 with local shopping, family activities and community fun

FLINT, MI — Families, shoppers and community supporters are being invited to experience Flint Small Business Saturday on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12- 5 p.m. at Word of Life Christian Church,
460 W. Atherton Road, in Flint. Now celebrating its ninth year, Flint Small Business Saturday (FSBS) has become one of the region’s most anticipated community events, bringing together local entrepreneurs, families, community organizations and supporters for an afternoon of shopping, connection, creativity and fun.

Founded in 2017 by Entrepreneur and Community Builder Ebonie Gipson, Flint Small Business Saturday was created to provide small businesses with a platform to grow, while encouraging residents to invest in the entrepreneurs who help strengthen the local economy. Attendees will enjoy free family-friendly activities while supplies last, including wax melt making, body butter making, custom keychain creation, a mobile zoo experience, giveaways and community engagement activities.

Gipson stated: “Flint Small Business Saturday is about more than shopping. It is about creating opportunities for entrepreneurs, bringing families together and demonstrating the power of investing in our local community.”
