First online ‘Theatre Costume Competition’ being presented by the ‘New’ McCree Theatre during pandemic

The “New” McCree Theatre is presenting its first online “Theatre Costume Competition”. The contest is open to children ages 3-7 and 8-14. The themes for this contest are Halloween and the most creative costumes. Each category will receive $500 for first prize, $250 for  second prize and $100 for third prize.

The costume competition is part of the theatre’s efforts to continue offering quality entertainment to their audience participants during the pandemic. The contest  begins October 1 and runs through October 30,  using Facebook as a platform; (Facebook.com/thenewmccreetheatre).

There is no registration fee. The contest is absolutely free to enter. All contestants must live in Genesee County and are asked to make sure their presentations are high quality and clear. Only one entry per person is allowed.

To enter the contest visit the The “New” McCree Theatre Facebook page and click on photo/video to upload and post photos of  Halloween costumes. For details, contact the “New” McCree Theatre at 810-787-2200.
