Families being invited to help shape spaces at the Flint Children’s Museum

FLINT, MI -The Flint Children’s Museum (FCM) is hosting a Community Engagement event at the Flint Farmer’s Market’s Ramsdell Room on November 10 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The purpose of this event is to incorporate the voices of families in the community as the FCM takes the next steps in finding a new home.

Earlier in October, the FCM conducted a survey asking for advice from the community on a number of impactful elements of the museum, including exhibits, programming and general social aspects. In addition to this feedback from families, community members and donors, the Engagement Event provides the opportunity for a roundtable with the FCM team, exploring the possibility of the Ferris Wheel building, and additional updates regarding the FCM’s relocation.

A children’s activity is included during the duration of the event, so families can participate while their children have fun.

Families are encouraged to RSVP at: Community Engagement Event RSVP link or, if they can not attend, the survey is open to responses for an additional week at: Flint Children’s Museum Relocation Survey
