Consumers Energy to give customers the opportunity to test-drive electric vehicles in Flint

Consumers Energy is giving customers the opportunity to test-drive seven electric vehicle models for free during a full-day event April 12 in Flint. People should sign up now for test drives.

WHEN: Saturday, April 12, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHERE: University of Michigan Flint – Lot T Harrison Street Parking Lot; 462 Harrison St., Flint 48502

WHAT: People can sign up for one or two 15-minute driving sessions in popular vehicles,
including a Ford F-150 Lightning and a GM Hummer EV SUV. Space is available on a first-come,
first-served basis. Register here or with the QR code being provided.

WORTH NOTING:
*Members of Consumers Energy’s EV team will be on site to talk with customers, answer questions and provide information about incentives that can lower costs.
* Consumers Energy aims to make electric vehicle charging convenient and affordable for their customers. They provide incentives for EV drivers at homes, businesses and at public locations, and solutions to help EV owners across the state are being developed.
*Consumers Energy is Michigan’s largest energy provider, providing natural gas and/or electricity to 6.8 million of the state’s 10 million residents in all 68 Lower Peninsula counties.
