FLINT, Mich. — The City of Flint administration has proposed reallocating $510,000 in ARPA funds to the In-Home Plumbing Program. The measure, which is pending City Council approval, would help address lead risks by replacing interior plumbing in up to 100 Flint homes.
“This proposal is about protecting families at the source,” said Seamus Bannon, Chief Strategy Officer. “We’re committed to building safer, healthier homes across Flint.”
This program will focus on replacing faucets, water lines, and other components in homes that have tested positive for lead, supporting long-term public health and infrastructure goals.
