In an increasingly lost and broken world, there is an answer that gives hope to the hurting and
brings peace to all mankind.
These past few years, the world has seen division and tension. Over 60 Genesee County churches
will tear down these barriers this Christmas to come together and share the hope that we all can
find this Christmas.
On December 23, these partnering with churches will host a FREE EVENT for everyone at the Dort Federal Event Center in Flint. The overall purpose of this event is to enjoy Christmas music with a live band and a 75 operosn choir, offer hope, encouragement and even some material needs of the county.
These churches across the county represent all ethnic backgrounds and several religious denominations. This event also has the full support of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Mid-Eastern Foodback and the Flint MTA.
Mid-Eastern Foodbank will provide three semi-trucks of food to distribute to those attending, and the food will be distributed after the event. The Flint MTA will provide free transportation from any bus stop to the event. The sheriff will provide all the security at the Dort Center and allow a live feed of the program into every floor of the Genesee County Jail.
