Cathedral of Faith Church launches empowerment series focusing on economic disparities in Black communities

At 10 a.m., on Saturday February 5, as part of their Crucial Conversations Series for Black History Month, Cathedral of Faith Church will sponsor a panel discussion on economic disparities that exist in the Black community in Flint.
Panelists include:
– 2nd Ward Councilperson Ladel Lewis
– 1st District County Commissioner Bryant Nolden
– Pastor Antwan Alexander, Kingdom First Church
– Steve Dawes, Region 1-D Director UAW
ARPA funding disbursement and processes for the city of Flint and Genesee County will be discussed, in addition to the future of the General Motors Flint Assembly Plant.
The keynote address will be given by City of Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley. Senate Democratic Minority Leader Jim Ananich and other local leaders will also be in attendance.
