Are you ready to go “Over the Edge?” Here’s Your Chance!

The Disability Network (TDN) is going Over the Edge for Flint for its third year on August 21. Over the Edge (OTE) is the only industrial rappelling event globally and provides community members the opportunity to rappel down the side of a multistory building.

TDN and Over the Edge will be partnering again with the historic Durant Luxury Apartments in downtown Flint as the rappelling site. This year’s event brings a new key partner: Back to the Bricks®. Participants will be rappelling with views of the annual classic car event scheduled for the same weekend.

Community members who want the experience of rappelling down the side of the eight-story historic building will fundraise a minimum of $500 before August 13 to secure their spot for event day. No previous rappelling or climbing experience is necessary to participate as the Over the Edge professionals will “show you the ropes” on the event day.

TDN is excited to bring back Over the Edge this summer after postponing last year’s event. This inclusive and accessible event helps raise funds for essential programming that serves people with disabilities in Genesee County.

TDN hosts Over the Edge with the generous support of local businesses and partners:
The Durant Luxury Apartments, Back to the Bricks, Peckham and McLaren Health Care.
