April 15 marks date for kick-off reception of 42nd Gary Haggart Bowl for Kids’ Sake event

Big Brothers Big Sisters are preparing Genesee County’s leading businesses and community-minded leaders for its 42nd Gary Haggart Bowl for Kids’ Sake, sponsored by the Arby’s Foundation.

This year’s theme will be a Mask-eurade.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake will have an exciting virtual spin with even more prizes and will keep
everyone engaged while raising much needed funds to create and support one to one mentoring
relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

The event normally held in February is rescheduled due to the current pandemic. The bowling event will
be virtual this year and take place on two consecutive weekends: Thursday through Saturday,
May 6-8 and Friday through Sunday, May 14-16, 2021. Five member teams will bowl in Zoom
breakout rooms accompanied by a tech supported volunteer.

Register your teams today for Bowl for Kids’ Sake at www.bbbsflint.org/bowl or by contacting the office
