The 19th Annual Prayer Chain Day event will take place at noon, downtown on the front lawn of the County Jail (1002 Saginaw Street) on Saturday, September 27.
Event organizers endeavor to carry on the vision of the event’s late founders Evangelist Geneva Spears and Sister Janet Pickell by having our event as usual the last Saturday of September. They are encouraging participants to arrive a bit early, wear a red garment and be ready for the weather forecasted for the
day.
Extra parking is behind City Hall on Stevens/7th.

Approximate times for Prayer Chain Day activities
• NOON – Prayer Rally begins at the County Jailhouse with a host many of Flint’s Ecumenical Leader’s praying for all the important issues in our City (please arrive at least 15 minutes early)
• 2:00/3:00 – for those so inclined, you may borrow a PCD Car Flag and participate in the Prayer Ride up and
down Saginaw Street (Coldwater to Bristol)
• 2:00 to 2:45 Cider/Donuts/Coffee available for City Hall Prayer Teams and returning Prayer Riders
• 2:00 onward – Community Outreach at adopted streets. This might include street ministry teams,
clothing giveaways, food and, of course, prayer for all Flint residents
