Flint Central High School building allegedly set on fire

On Thursday, February 27, firefighters rushed to the scene of a significant fire at Flint Central High School.

The fire was due to an arson by people who broke into the old school building, according to the school district.

Observers saw heavy smoke coming from the building.

Fortunately, the firefighters were able to subdued the fire, and the building was left secured.

This is not the first fire the building has had to endure.

But, Flint Community Schools has stated they still plan renovate Central with the $750,000 in grant funding recently offered by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
