Well of Hope offers free gun locks to increase awareness of need to safely store firearms

Well of Hope, a local non-profit organization, is offering free guns locks to increase awareness of the need to safely store firearms in places of residence.

According to the organization’s website, Well of Hope’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty by targeting programs to break down barriers to education of children; and creating Flint–wide programs that unify families.

Well of Hope aims to uplift and support families in times of need.

To receive a gun lock, email wellofhopeflint@gmail.com, or call (810) 789-3407.

The gun locks are expected to be available throughout the entire month of June.
