Flint Community Lab to commemorate 10th anniversary of Flint Water Crisis with special program featuring Actor Hill Harper

FLINT, MI – The Flint Community Lab (FCL) will host a special program to mark the 10th anniversary of the Flint Water Crisis. The Lab is honored to welcome special guest speaker, actor Hill Harper, who has been a prominent advocate for safe drinking water nationwide, particularly in Flint.

Residents are invited to join the commemorative event, taking place at the Flint Development Center on Thursday, April 25th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The program will include refreshments, giveaways, and guided tours of the lab by the staff of the Flint Community Lab.

The Flint Community Lab has served as an independent provider of free water testing for Flint residents since its establishment in 2020. As the pioneering community-run lab in the nation, FCL has conducted over 3,000 tests for lead and copper, offering vital insights and resources to the community.
