Lennetta Coney named to MI-ACE Board of Directors

Lennetta Coney, president of the Foundation for Mott Community College (FMCC), has been named to a three-year term on the Michigan American Council on Education (MI-ACE) Board of Directors. The American Council on Education (ACE) is a membership organization that mobilizes the higher education community to shape effective public policy and foster innovative, high-quality practice. MI-ACE is the Michigan chapter of the organization.

“In her role on the MI-ACE Board of Directors, Lennetta will be leading efforts that create a stronger future for women leaders in higher education statewide,” said Mott Community College (MCC) president, Dr. Beverly Walker-Griffea.

“This appointment is a well-deserved recognition of her commitment and passion for being a change-maker in higher education,” Walker-Griffea added.
