Business Flint Water Crisis Headlines Health and Wellness

FREE Community Resource Event    

The Healthy Flint Research Coordinating Center- Community Core will host a community resource event on Monday, June 3 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Genesee County Community Action Resource Department located at 601 N. Saginaw Street. A light dinner will be served at 5 p.m.

Through this event, Flint residents will learn about the availability and accessibility of resources following the water crisis.  The community will be informed about resources like Medicaid Expansion and Healthy Start Leap, provided with education and pre-enrollment on programs like the Flint Registry, and trained on the proper use of water filters.  Water filters and other resource materials will be distributed.
