The City of Flint Announces the Launch of the Water Residential Assistance
Program (WRAP)

The City of Flint has announced the launch of the Water Residential Assistance Program
(WRAP), designed to help residents by providing up to $1,000 in water assistance funding over a
12-month period.

To qualify, residents must: Meet income guidelines (150% poverty level or below), have an
active City of Flint water account, water bill must be in client "tenant" name, account holder
must attend WRAP appointment.

The program is available for all residents who live within the City of Flint. Shut off notice is not
required and residents can enroll in the program by calling (313) 386-WRAP (9727).

A press release states that the program will go into effect immediately.
