Time:           Motorcade Lineup 9:00am-10:00am

VON (Veterans Of Now) is a 501c19 nonprofit organization that has served military veterans in Flint, surrounding communities and across the state since inception in November 2015. VON’s mission is to empower military veterans and their families, of all eras, by informing and providing access to services and care due to them. Other services include, but are not limited to, home visits, group meetings catered to share experiences, partnering with other organizations that provide mental health services for veterans, and advocating on behalf of military veterans.

Veterans of Now is inviting the community to come out and salute and cheer on Military Veterans for the 4th Annual Veterans Motorcade and Celebration.

Vehicle lineup starts at 9 a.m. in front of Flint City Hall and at 10 a.m. will proceed north through Downtown Flint to Berston Field House where there will be a Veterans Ceremony at 10:30 am.

The “4th Annual Veterans’ Day Motorcade and Celebration” is scheduled Saturday, November 2, 2024, to honor military veterans for their sacrifice and service to our country.  The Motorcade starts at Flint City Hall, line-up starts at 9 a.m., heads to Berston Field House at 10 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. Ceremony acknowledging several selected Military Veteran Hidden Figures in the Flint Area.  Afterwards, the escorted Motorcade will proceed to the Michigan Heroes Museum in Frankenmuth where attendees will see displays of military veterans and astronauts connected to Michigan, including some from the Flint area.
